The House of Praise is a Pre-Columbian Art Museum private primary objective is to contribute to the development of culture in Ecuador, serving educational functions, social and research, today, leading museums around the world.
The museum houses archaeological heritage about 5 000 pieces from most societies that lived in the Ecuadorian territory in the past. The permanent exhibition seeks the visitor to discover the magnitude of thought and Native American worldview and the aesthetic richness of the pieces that exemplify them.
The details that were made the pieces, the museum exhibits, is admirable. Visitors will be amazed to tour the various rooms, which explore the development of pre-Columbian cultures of Ecuador.
The Museum is located at 335 and Rocafuerte Basin Street in downtown Quito, a few steps south of the Church of San Francisco. Facilities have audio guides, paa wheelchair disabled, blind visits, shop and cafe.
