On our second day at the Enchanted Islands did a walk of about 3 km to Playa Mansa (1m S 00 ° 45,807 ' W 90 ° 20,416 ') through Turtle Bay.
Turtle Bay is one of the largest white sand beaches of the archipelago, due to high waves it is unwise to swim in this place. The marine iguanas, sharks and sea turtles can be seen here, depending on season and migratory birds can be seen walking along the coast.
A rock located west divides the beach, resulting in Mansa beach with mangroves around. This is the perfect place for swimming, snorkeling can be done well if a little enters the sea.
From the Galapagos National College (local school) a path will lead you to this lovely beach, distance is approximately 2.5 km. long. Visiting hours last from 6:00 until 18:00.
